Privacy Policy

I. Introduction

Valalta d.o.o. Rovinj, VAT ID NO: 94300736117, Cesta za Valaltu - Lim 7, 52210 Rovinj, processes personal data of users of its services and visitors to www.campvalsaline.hr in accordance with the applicable regulations governing the protection of personal data (Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

Personal data is processed solely when there is a legal basis for it: legal obligation, contractual relationship, user consent, protection of key user interests or legitimate interest of Valalta d.o.o..

Valalta d.o.o. respects your privacy and treats your personal data as confidential information and trade secret.

Valalta d.o.o. handles your personal information for the following purposes:

1. Use of reservation system

When making a reservation inquiry, we will collect your name, surname, address, e-mail address and telephone number and the information we need to inform you about the relevant information on the available accommodation capacity.

Upon successfully confirming your reservation, we will register you as our guest and we will process your personal data exclusively for the purpose of providing the service you have agreed to and of logging in to the central information system for check-in and check-out of tourists, which is a legal obligation in the Republic of Croatia. For this purpose, when checking-in to the campsite we will ask you additional information such as the number, date and place of issuance of personal documents, citizenship, country of residence, date and place of birth, vehicle registration number.

The above data processing is necessary for providing accommodation services.

2. Promotional messages

If you give us your prior consent or enter your e-mail address in the web form for receiving our newsletter, we will let you know about deals, discounts and news in our offer.

You can opt out of receiving promotional messages at any time by choosing the opt-out option in the promotional message received.

3. Surveys and questionnaires

Customer satisfaction surveys are conducted to improve the quality of our service. Participation is voluntary, as well as entering personal data into questionnaires.

4. Dealing with customer complaints and responding to inquiries

In order to respond to all your inquiries or any complaints you may have, we need information about your name and surname and e-mail address to which we will send the requested information. If you contact us with your inquiries, we will process the information you deliver solely for providing the information requested.

The personal data necessary to handle complaints to services provided are kept 12 months from the date of receipt in accordance with the regulations governing consumer rights and the provision of catering services.

5. Recipients of personal data

We do not forward your personal data to third parties, except when it is necessary to provide the service you have requested yourself (e.g. excursion organization) or to competent authorities in accordance with the regulations.

The exception to this rule is the information on visitors to our web pages that are, for the purpose of better understanding customer needs, re-marketing, product and service improvements, collected by Google Analytics to provide users with full functionality and quality content, by using cookies on our web pages.

The data collected by this service include user's IP address, browser information, language, operating system, and other standard data required for statistical analysis of visitors to the site.

Valalta d.o.o. does not collect this data nor can it access the personal data thus collected.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer while you're visiting our website. With the use of cookies, we can remember your activities or settings and the next time you visit the same page we can apply them automatically. So we know you've already been here and we can adjust the content we show to your already expressed interests.

In addition, on our website, we use third-party cookies, such as Google Analytics', whose application is described in the previous chapter.

7. Storage of personal data

Your personal data is stored in accordance with the deadlines specified by the legal requirements and business policy of Valalta d.o.o.. II. Personal data protection measures

In order to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data, we process, store and transmit them in compliance with the legal, technical and organizational security measures selected on the basis of risk assessment. We only collect data that is necessary for the purpose of processing and we do not keep them longer than necessary or as determined by legal regulations.

III. User rights in processing personal data

Depending on the purpose and legal basis for processing personal data, you can always request the following:

*access to personal data,

*correction of personal data,

*deletion of personal data,

* limitation to personal data processing.

If you believe that any of your rights have been violated, you may file a complaint against the processing of personal data to the national supervisory authority. In the Republic of Croatia, the supervisory authority is the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka /Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency/, Martićeva 14, 10 000 Zagreb, azop@azop.hr.

IV. Contact person for personal data protection

Pursuant to the applicable legal regulations, any request/inquiry for protection of personal data will be resolved as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days of the receipt thereof.



When contacting and making these requests, we will make reasonable efforts to confirm your identity and prevent unauthorized personal data processing.
